A great Chris Horner story from the Cascade Cycling Classic in July 2008. After burying himself for Levi Leipheimer for 110 kms, Horner spotted a fallen rider by the side of the road that had crashed a couple of kms from the finish. Horner stopped, motioned for Billy Demong (and bike) to climb on and he rode them the final 2kms uphill to the finish line. This is the kind of guy who deserves a start in the Tour de France.
