Of the other contenders, Menchov looks well placed to loosen Sanchez’s grip on 3rd spot, with the Spaniard likely to still be feeling the effects of his nasty crash on Stage 17. My tip: Spartacus. Although he’s worked like a donkey for Schleck over the past three weeks, Cancellara knows how to win big on the big stage. And Contador to comfortably out ride Schleck by at least a minute.
